“The Church does not relinquish the hope that Christian business leaders will, despite the present darkness, restore trust, inspire hope and keep burning the light of faith that fuels their daily pursuit of the good.”

From The Vocation of the Business Leader of the Pontifical Council for
Justice and Peace

From Career to Calling

Vocatus is an initiative of the New Evangelization designed specifically to engage and promote the lay apostolate in the marketplace. Participants have found the breakfast meetings effective, practical, and supportive encounters. In a fragmented and fragmenting world there is a path to integration of family, faith, and business. We welcome all newcomers to our growing community.

Pontifical Council For Justice & Peace - Vocation of the Business Leader, a Reflection

The vocation of the businessperson is a genuine human and Christian calling. Pope Francis calls it “a noble vocation, provided that those engaged in it see themselves challenged by a greater meaning in life; this will enable them truly to serve the common good by striving to increase the goods of this world and to make them more accessible to all”

(From The Vocation of the Business Leader (Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace)

Jesus Christ through His Church has a vision for your work as a leader in business.

See the way to move beyond a fragmented experience of family-work-faith.

Judge the practical means to transform your life and your work.

Act in the power of God’s Spirit to transform the world.

“From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and

from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked”

(Lk 12:48).
