Help Wanted
Convocation is an opportunity for alumni to stay connected...we need volunteers to help with many aspects of this special event. Who better to help out than those that have been through Convocation and know what to do to help make the day extra-special for our graduating students? This is also a great opportuntiy to connect with other students, visit the staff and faculty at NTC and SJS. If you are interested helping out with Convocation 2009, please connect with Maria Saulnier.
Jazz Night
There is a long-standing tradition at Newman Theological College (NTC) which ties in with Convocation. On the eve of Convocation, St. Joseph Seminary (SJS) and NTC host Jazz Night, which provides an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, graduates, alumni, family and friends to gather for an evening of fellowship, music and martini's. Jazz Night is the main fundraising event for SJS's sponsorship of 5 children through Chalice (formerly Christian Child Care International). Click here to see a photo album of the evening.
